Here are rendered images of the speculated Mercedes-AMG GT4 that is set to rival the Porsche Panamera.

Digital artist Theophilus Chin has based the renderings on the AMG GT giving it a longer body and four doors. The new model is expected to be based on the next gen CLS (could be called CLE) and is expected to hit showrooms in 2018 or 2019. The design will be all new and it will get bespoke quarter panels, doors  and bumpers. There will be all new light clusters and a larger practical boot as well.

As far as the engines go, there’s going to be a new 2.9-liter turbodiesel inline-six with approximately 300 bhp and a high-output version rated at an estimated 400 bhp. There will apparently be an electrified six-cylinder turbo developing 455 bhp followed by a V8 in two states of tune:557 bhp and 585 bhp.
