Porsche has taken the wraps off the 2018 911 GT3 RS and has also launched it in India for Rs. 2.75 crore (ex showroom). Orders are now being accepted across all Porsche centres in India.

Based on the 911 GT3, the GT3 Rs uses a 4.0 litre naturally aspirated six cylinder engine that develops 520 horsepower, that’s 20 horses more than its predecessor and the current GT3. It can go from 0 to 100 kph in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 312 kph. The engine is mated to a seven speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.

The interior features full carbon fibre bucket seats, lightweight door panels featuring storage nets and opening pull-loops, reduced sound absorption materials and a new lightweight rear lid that aids weight reduction.  The GT3 RS comes with 20 inch lightweight alloy wheels with 265/35 tyres at the front and 21 inch wheels with 325/30 rubber at the rear.

Porsche is also offering the Clubsport package with the GT3 RS at no extra cost. The package includes a roll-over bar, manual fire extinguisher, preparation for a battery-disconnect switch and six-point safety-harness.

The Porsche 911 GT3 Rs will rival the Mercedes-AMG GT R in India.
