2018 Range Rover Velar Interior

If the exterior is wow, there’s more in store once you step inside. As expected the cabin of the Velar is finished in the highest quality of materials. Still, Land Rover has outdone itself with the interiors. Check the the new Touch Pro Duo infotainment system. It is unlike any other that you have seen in any car so far. There are two high definition 10 inch touch screens on the centre console. The upper one tilts out when you start the car and the angle can also be adjusted via the settings tab. This screen manages the routine functions like audio, Bluetooth and navigation. The lower screen features the climate control and the various drive modes that the Velar comes with. The graphics that display the drive modes are cutting edge and absolutely mind blowing. They are so crisp, they could rival some LED TVs. The absence of Android Auto and Apple Car Play however is a big miss. There is a high res digital instrument cluster again with sharp graphics. The steering wheel is typical Range Rover but now comes with touch sensitive steering controls. All you need to do is whirl your thumb to adjust volume etc. Does take some getting used to though. Moving on, the dashboard is nicely finished, the power window controls are at the conventional location and not the window sill plus the panoramic glass roof adds a very airy feel to the cabin. There’s ambient lighting too. The front seats are electrically adjustable and are very comfortable.  The rear seats offer great support but are best suited for two passengers. What’s more, the backrest can be electrically reclined too. The Meridian sound system sounds fantastic and Land Rover also provides a full size spare wheel nicely ticked away in the wheel well below the boot.
