The new second generation 2018 Renault Duster has been officially revealed. The new SUV is an evolution of its predecessor.
2018 Renault Duster design
Thew new Duster features a new large front grille with wide headlamps. The new tail lamps are now mounted at the corners. The new model is built on the same platform as the first gen car. Overall dimensions are also identical. Interiors have not been revealed yet.
Renault-owned Dacia has sold more than a million Dusters since 2010. Laurens van den Acker, senior vice president, corporate design, at Groupe Renault said ” “The big revolution is that we’re not doing a revolution,” he said. “The Duster’s not at the end of its life. We still can’t make enough to satisfy demand. So why change a good thing? But if you get close, you’ll see that everything has been touched.”
2018 Renault Duster engines
Engines and transmissions are expected to be unchanged in the 2018 Renault Duster for global markets. The new Duster could come to India in 2018 but for now the company is getting ready to launch the Captur crossover this festive season.
