New Audi A4 diesel India launch in February
The new Audi A4 was launched in India last year but it was available only with a 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine. The German car maker is now set to launch the diesel engined A4 sedan in February.
The diesel A4 launched was delayed because Audi had to re calibrate the diesel engine to adapt to lower grade diesel available in our country. The new 2.0 litre diesel engine will have a power output of 190 horsepower, 15 more than its predecessor. The motor will be mated to a seven speed S-Tronic dual clutch gearbox. A six speed manual box in an entry level variant is expected later. The diesel A4 will be a front wheel drive as well.
The diesel A4 rivals the Mercedes-Benz C220d and BMW 320d in India.
