Jaguar has launched the XE sports sedan at a price of Rs. 39.9 lakh ex show room Delhi. It will be available in two trim levels and will be locally produced at JLR’s facility at Pune.
The Jaguar XE will be offered with 2.0 litre petrol engine in tow states of tune: 197 bhp and 237 bhp. The XE goes from 0 to 100 kph in 6.8 seconds (237 bhp version). It uses a first in class Aluminum intensive monocoque construction. 
It gets soft grain leather interiors. The XE comes with a host of features that include Torque Vectoring by Braking, All Surface Progress Control (ASPC), Intelligent start stop, In Control Touch infotainment system with a 20.32 cm touch screen, sports steering wheel, 10 way electrically adjustable front seats, panoramic sunroof, navigation, Meridian sound system, surround camera and Jaguar Smart Key.
The Jaguar XE comes in seven colour options: Polaris White, Rhodium Silver, Blue Fire, Dark Sapphire, Odessey Red, Italian Racing Read and Ultimate Black.
The Jaguar XE will go on sale from the end of February 2016 and will rival the Mercedes C-Class, BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Volvo S60.
