Audi has launched the RS7 facelift at a price of Rs. 1.4 crore Ex Showroom Mumbai. It will be imported and sold as a CBU across Audi dealerships in India. The RS7 facelift gets cosmetic upgrades to the exterior and the interior.

The facelift RS7 gets a new front bumper and restyled grille along with new LED head lamps. Audi now also offers the Matrix LED head lamps as an option on the new car.  The rear gets new all LED tail lamps and here are also new integrated dynamic turn signals. New design 20 inch alloy wheels are standard with an option to upgrade to 21 inch alloys as well.

On the interior, the facelift RS7 gets a new instrument cluster, air con controls as well as new paddle shifters on the steering wheel. The standard Audi MMI navigation plus now uses the latest generation modular infotainment platform with a new graphics processor from Nvidia.

Mechanically, the car remains unchanged. It is powered by a 4.0 litre V8 TFSI engine putting out 560 horsepower with 700 Nm torque. It goes from 0 to 100 kph in a claimed 3.9 seconds and has a electronically limited top speed of 255 kph. The top speed can be increased to 280 kph or 305 kph with Audi’s ‘Dynamic Package’ . The engine also gets the cylinder deacativation function where 4 cylinders are automatically shut off when not needed thus helping fuel efficiency. The engine is mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox and the car comes with Audi’s all wheel drive ‘quattro system’.
