The Audi RS7 Performance has been launched in India at a price of Rs 1.60 crore ex showroom Delhi.
The Audi RS7 Performance comes with a 4.0 litre bi-turbo V8 TFSI engine that develops 605 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. It does the 0 to 100 kph sprint in just 3.7 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the standard RS7 Sportback. Top speed with the dynamic package is 280 kph, that goes up to 305 kph with the dynamic package plus. The engine also gets the cylinder on demand feature that shuts down four cylinders of the motor when not required. The engine is mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox. Audi’s quattro all wheel drive system is standard on the car.
On the exterior, the RS7 Performance gets aggressively styled front and rear bumpers, with large air intakes at the front and a diffuser on the rear. It also gets a large gloss black honey comb grille. There is a quattro log on the air intake duct and matt titanium trims parts as well. The car comes equipped with Audi Matrix LED headlamps and new tail light design with dynamic turn indicators. Audi offers two styling packages with the RS7 Performance – matt aluminium and carbon.
The interior of the RS7 Performance features a wrap around horizontal line below the front windshield. The car comes with a redesigned instrument cluster, ac vents and paddle shifters. The MMI Infotainment system now features NVedia graphics processor. There is a flat bottom three spoke steering wheel. The gear selector is finished in perforated leather and gets an RS badge. The paddle shifters behind the steering wheel get an aluminium finish. There are RS sports seats with side bolsters and integrated headrests. They come finished in honeycomb quilted Velcona leather in black or lunar silver. Comfort seats with electric adjust and memory function are offered as an option. Standard boot space stands at 535 litres which goes up to 1390 litres with the rear seats folded down.
Other features include MMI navigation plus with touchpad control (MMI touch), Heads-up display, Bose surround system, Independent Sports Air Suspension and RS Sports exhaust system. Optional features include a Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System, quattro with Sports Differential, Dynamic Ride Control,Ceramic Disk Brakes and Dynamic Package Plus.
The Audi RS7 Performance also gets an exclusive Ascari Blue exterior colour apart from the existing colours on offer.
