Jaguar showcased the F-Type British Design Edition at the Auto Expo 2016. The car was recently unveiled internationally.
The model gets British Design Edition badges front and rear along with branding on the centre console, head rests and the tread plates. There is new colour palette on offer as well: Caldera Red, Glacier White, Ultmate Black. and Ultra Blue which is new to the F-Type. There are 20-inch Cyclone wheels with Satin Grey finish along with red brake calipers. ( Black available as an option).
On the interior, it gets jet leather upholstery with contrast stitching in a choice of three colours. Carbon fibre trims on the centre console are also included. Other features include Jaguar’s InControl Touch and InControl Touch Plus infotainment systems, 380W Meridian system with 10 speakers or 770W of Meridian surround sound with 12 speakers. The InControl Remote App is now available for the Apple Watch as well. 
Power comes from a 3.0 V6 supercharged engine that develops 380 horsepower and 460 Nm torque. The engine is mated to a six speed manual gearbox in rear wheel drive configuration or an eight speed automatic box in either rear wheel drive or all wheel drive config. The British Design Edition gets the Jaguar Super Performance Brake system.
