BMW 320d Gran Turismo Interior

Open the frameless doors and you enter familiar BMW territory. The dashboard is well laid out and is very driver centric. It is pretty much similar to the sedan. The steering wheel comes with paddle shifters and feels good to hold. It come with manual adjust for reach and height. There is a 22.3 cm screen with high res graphics for the reworked iDrive infotainment system. We love the attention to detail on the display screen. The latest Navigation System Professional with 3D maps is part of the package. Other features include BMW apps, rear view camera, front and rear Park Distance Control and a 205W 9 speaker sound system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity. The dual zone climate control is effective and you also get a panoramic sunroof as standard.  If space was your grouse in the 3 Series sedan, the GT will change that for sure. The 110 mm increase in wheelbase that we mentioned before translates to acres of legroom at the rear. A definite contender if you are looking for a chauffeur driven luxury car. The seats are comfortable and provide good under thigh support. There is adequate space for three occupants at the rear too. The large windows make sure you don’t miss out on landscapes while you are touring. Front seats are large and supportive and feature electric adjust with memory function for the driver. Open the tailgate and you are greeted with 520 litres of boot space.  That’s not all, fold down the rear seats and you can easily fit a hybrid bicycle and more in the 1600 litres that becomes available. However a space saver tyre that’s tied down to the boot floor does eat into space. The boot comes with the auto close function via a button on the boot lid.
