The BMW 530i M Sport has been launched at a price of Rs. 59.20 lakh ex showroom India.  This the first time the M Sport package has been offered on a petrol variant of the 5 Series in India.

The 530i is powered by a 2.0 litre four cylinder petrol engine that develops 252 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. It goes from 0 to 100 kph in 6.2seconds and the engine is mated to an 8 speed automatic gearbox. There are 5 driving modes to choose from: Comfort, Sport, Sport+, ECO PRO and Adaptive. The engine is also now BS VI compliant.

On the exterior, the BMW 530i M Sport gets the kidney grille finished in gloss black front apron with larger air intakes, side skirt trim, a diffusor-style rear apron in metallic Dark Shadow, chrome tail pipes, 18 inch M alloy wheels, M brakes with blue calipers and M logos on the sides.

The BMW 530i M Sport features leather Sport Seats and interior trim Aluminium Rhombicle with highlight trim finishers in Pearl Chrome, M steering wheel finished in leather, M door sills and ambient lighting in six colours.

Other features include BME Display Key, Gesture Control, Wireless Charging, Parking Assist, Surround Cameras, Comfort Access System, 10.25 inch iDrive Touch infotainment system, Wireless Apple CarPlay and a 600W Harman Kardon Sound system with 16 speakers

Safety features include six air bags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with brake assist, Active PDC rear, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Side-impact Protection, Runflat tyres (RFT) with reinforced sidewalls, electronic vehicle immobiliser, crash sensor and integrated emergency spare wheel.

BMW also offers the 530d diesel in the M-Sport trim.
