BMW 530i Verdict

The 530i does well for a luxury petrol sedan. The engine has enough power to satisfy the enthusiast in you and even though it is no match for the naturally aspirated six cylinder unit, there isn’t anything to complain about. What’s disappointing is that BMW isn’t offering the 530i in higher trims levels and that makes the car loose out on a lot of features which you expect to have in a car of this segment. Hopefully BMW adds at least one more variant soon. At Rs. 53.8 lakh it is a bit more expensive than the same trim diesel.  For now, this is the only petrol 5-Series you can buy in India, this side of the mighty M5.
