Ferrari 488 GTB launched at Rs. 3.88 crore

Ferrari has launched the 488 GTB in India at a price of Rs. 3.88 crore all India ex showroom.

The 488 GTB is powered by a 3.9 litre twin turbo charged V8 engine that develops 661 bhp at 8000 rpm and 760 Nm torque at 3000 rpm. The Ferrari 488 GTB goes from 0 to 100 kph in 3 seconds and has a top speed of 330 kph. The engine is mated to a 7 speed F1 dual clutch gearbox. The predecessor 458 Italia made 562 bhp so the turbos have bumped up the power on the 488 by 100 bhp.

Ferrari made a re-entry into India last year and have two dealers in the country; Select Cars in New Delhi and Navnit Motors in Mumbai. The Ferrari model range in India includes the California T, the 488GTB, the 458 Spider, the 458 Speciale and the F12 Belinetta.
