Honda Car India has announced that the City sedan has achieved a sales miilestone of 7 lakh units since it was first launched in India in 1998. The model is currently on its fourth generation. India accounts for over 25% of the City’s global sales.

The current gen City in India is powered by a 1.5 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engine. The petrol engine comes with a choice of manual or CVT automatic gearbox while the diesel gets only a manual transmission.

Features of the Honda City include Keyless entry, Electric Sunroof, Steering Mounted Audio and Bluetooth handsfree, advanced 17.7 cm touchscreen infotainment system called the Digipad, Reverse Camera & Parking Sensors, Cruise Control, Automatic Air-conditioner, leather seats, 16 inch diamond alloy wheels. Safety features iclude ABS (Anti-lock braking system) with EBD, & Airbags.
