Honda has launched ZX variant of the City petrol with a manual gearbox at Rs. 12.75 lakh ex showroom Delhi. Earlier the top end ZX petrol was only available with a CVT automatic gearbox.

Additionally the City will now get two new paint shades, Radiant Red Metallic and Lunar Silver Metallic. The car maker has also announced that all variants of the Honda City will now get rear parking sensors as a standard feature.

Other features of the range topping ZX variant include a 7 inch touch screen infotainment system, LED headlamps and tail lamps, LED daytime running lamps, 16 inch diamond cut alloy wheels, auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, electric sunroof and 6 airbags.

The Honda City powered by a 1.5 litre I-VTEC petrol engine and a 1.5 litre I-DTEC diesel engine. The diesel comes mated to a six speed manual gearbox only. The petrol now has both manual and CVT options.

Honda says the introduction of a top end manual petrol variant was due to high demand from City customers.
