The Honda W-RV has crossed 50,000 units sales in its first year of launch. The W-RV was launched in the India in March 2017. The W-RV crossover is based on the Jazz hatchback

The W-RV has accounted for 28 percent of total sales for Honda. Getting into details, the range topping VX accounts for 80% of sales. as far as engines are concerned, 42 percent sales are for the petrol while 58 percent are for diesel.

Sales have stood at 38 percent in Tier 1 cities with 30 and 32 percent for Tier 2 and Tier 3 Cities respectively. Regional sales have revealed 30 percent in the North, 28 percent in the West, 15 percent in the East and 27 percent in the South.

The Honda W-RV is powered by a 1.2 litre petrol engine that develops 90 horsepower and a 1.5 litre diesel with 100 hp. The petrol features a 5 speed manual and the diesel comes with a 6 speed manual gearbox.
