We have big news for Ferrari enthusiasts. India’s first 458 Speciale has been delivered to a lucky owner in the city of Bengaluru by Ferrari Mumbai and we have some exclusive pictures of this new Prancing Horse.

So how’s the Speciale different from the standard 458 Italia? For starters, the naturally aspirated V8 is now tuned to pump out 597 bhp @9000 rpm and torque of 540 Nm @ 6000 rpm. The Speciale will do the 0 to 100 km dash in 3 seconds flat. The car comes with a new rear diffuser and loses the 3 exhaust pipes.  The Speciale also has a new electronic system to make it easier to control on the limit, called Side Slip Angle Control, which Ferrari abbreviates to SSC. Using a newly developed algorithm, SSC analyses the Speciale’s slip angle, compares it to a target figure and then optimises torque management via the traction control system and torque distribution between the two wheels.  The Speciale is shod with specially developed Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres to support the increase in performance.

We wish the owner many happy miles of fun and thrill with his new possession and hope the car sees a track soon. Till then enjoy some exclusive photos.
