Isuzu MU-X Exterior and Interior

On the outside, the MU-X shares similarities with the D-Max V-Cross pickup truck. There is a large front grille that gets chrome treatment, rugged bumpers, flared wheel arches, 17 inch alloy wheels, roof rails and daytime running lamps in the headlights.

The cabin is similar to the V-Cross as well. Standard equipment includes 7 inch touch screen infotainment system, climate control, cruise control, 10 inch roof mouted DVD monitor, Bluetooth connectivity and audio controls on the steering wheel. The MU-X comes in a 7 seater layout.

Isuzu MU-X Engine Specifications

Power comes from a 3.0 litre four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine that develops 177  horsepower and 380 Nm of maximum torque. The engine is mated to a 5 speed automatic gearbox. The 4×4 version features a shift-on-the-fly operation  four-wheel-drive system with options for 2H, 4H and 4L ratios. It also comes with uphill and downhill drive control.
