Jaguar is working on a long wheel base version of its XF sedan. The all new XF recently made its world debut at the New York Auto Show 2015. While the new XF will be available in sedan and estate body styles globally, sources have confirmed that a third body style, an XL variant is under works. The standard XF is smaller than its predecessor but has a larger wheelbase due to which Jaguar claims it gives the XF best in class knee room.

Jaguar is targeting chauffeur driven customers with the XF-L. Long wheel base versions of its rivals like the Mercedes E Class, BMW 5 Series and Audi A6 are sold in some international markets and are quite popular especially in China. Jaguar is expected to launch the XF-L in China first. A right hand drive version is expected later and that could make its way to Indian shores.
