Sales of the Jeep Compass SUV has crossed the 10,000 units. The milestone has come just four months after the Compass was launched in India.

FCA also exported the first batch of 600 Made in India Compass SUVs to Australia and Japan in October this year.

Jeep has also announced a price hike for the Compass in the range of 2 to 4%. Prices of the entry level Sport variant however, will remain unchanged.

The Compass is powered by a 2.0 Multijet diesel and 1.4 litre Multi Air petrol engine with three trims on offer. A 7 speed dual clutch automatic is offered with the petrol motor while the diesel gets the option of a 4×4 system.

The Jeep Compass comes with a standard warranty of 3 years/1,00,000 kms and a service cycle of 15,000 kms or 1 year.
