The Jeep Compass is scaling new heights in India ever since the SUV was launched in July 2017. Production of the Compass has crossed 25,000 units in just seven months of launch. India is also the manufacturing base of the Compass for all global right hand drive markets. Jeep India has already exported over 5,000 units of the Compass to Australia, Japan and the United Kingdom.

The Compass is produced FCA’s Ranjangaon facility in Pune and is built with 65% localisation.

The Compass comes with the choice of a 2.0 litre Multijet diesel and a 1.4 litre Multiair petrol engine. It is available in three trim levels, Sport, Longitude and Limited. While the diesel is available with only a six speed manual gearbox, the petrol also gets the option of a 7 speed dual clutch automatic. The Compass is sold in 10 different variants that includes 4×4 and 4×2 options.

The Jeep Compass diesel with an automatic transmission is expected to launch in the coming months.

The Jeep Compass comes with a standard warranty of 3 years/1,00,000 kms and a service cycle of 15,000 kms or 1 year.
