Lamborghini Aventador

The Lamborghini Aventador has reached another milestone in its production run. The company has assembled the 5000th Aventador at the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory in Italy. The highlight is that this has been achieved in just 55 months since the Aventador went into production. Chassis number 5,000 is a roadster finished in Rosso Bia and headed to a customer in Italy.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is powered by a 6.5 litre V12 engine putting out 691 bhp which takes it from 0 to 100 kph in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 350kph.

There have been many special editions of the Lamborghini Aventador so far including the Veneno coupe and roadster, the Anniversario, SV coupe and roadster, the one of the Aventador J and the recently unveiled Centenario.

The predecessor of the Avantador, the Murcielago saw 4,099 units in its nine years of production. The Aventador has already surpassed this.
