Land Rover India has launched the locally assembled Range Rover Velar at Rs. 72.47. Going the local assembly way has slashed Velar prices by approx. Rs. 16 lakh. The Velar was launched in India as a CBU last year
The locally assembled Velar will be available in a single R Dynamic S trim with the choice of a 2.0 4 cylinder petrol engine putting out 247 horsepower and a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder diesel engine with 177 horses.
Despite the drop in prices, the Velar comes loaded with a host of features. These include Touch Pro Duo, Activity Key, Wi-Fi and Pro Services, 380 W Meridian Sound System, Four-zone Climate Control, Cabin Air Ionisation, Premium Leather interiors, 20 inch alloy wheels with Full size spare wheel, R-Dynamic exterior pack, Adaptive Dynamics, Premium LED headlights with signature LED DRL, Park Assist etc.
Bookings are now open with deliveries slated to begin in May 2019.
