Mahindra Truck and Bus has launched the Blazo X range of heavy duty trucks in the Indian market. The Blazo X is an updated version of the Blazo truck and promises better fuel efficiency than before.

Mahindra says that over 21,000 Blazo trucks have been sold so far and not one of them has been returned with complaints of poor fuel efficiency. Mahindra is offering the same ‘Get more mileage or give the truck back’ guarantee with the Blazo X as well.

The Blazo X comes with a 7.2 litre diesel engine that develops 274 horsepower and 950 Nm of torque. The Blazo X features Fuel Smart technology with three modes: Heavy mode for use with a full load, light mode when the truck is running without load and turbo when carrying big loads or climbing steep inclines. each mode works to bring out the best fuel efficiency in all driving scenarios.

Mahindra offers quick service for the Blazo X where any Blazo X that arrives for service at the workshop will be delivered back within 36 hours else the company will pay the owner Rs. 3000 per day.

Mahindra has a service corridor between Delhi and Mumbai where road side assistance will arrive within 2 hours of the distress call. Another corridor between Kashmir and Kanyakumari has been launched where assistance will arrive within 4 hours or a compensation of Rs. 500 per hour delay will be given.

The Blazo X comes with a six year/ six lakh km warranty and will be available across all platforms : Tipper, Transit Mixer, Boom Pump, Lift Axle, SWB, Hauler etc.

Other features of the Blaxo X include tit and telescopic steering, 3 qay adjustable seats, sleeper berths, Multi information display and ABS.

THE Blazo X costs Rs. 25,000 more than the Blazo that is now discontinued.
