The recently launched Mahindra Marazzo has achieved a 4 star rating in the Global NCAP safety tests.  It is the first Indian made MPV to get this score. Child occupancy also got 2 stars.

The test results revealed that the MPV provided good protection for both adult head and neck, marginal protection for the driver chest and adequate protection for passenger chest. The area of the knees showed good protection as well.

Standard safety features of the Mahindra Marazzo include dual airbags, ABS, ISOFIX anchorages, seat belt reminders, 3 point seatbelts for all occupants, Energy Absorbing Steering Column, Crash Locking Tongue & Pre-tensioning and load limiting technology (front occupants), High strength occupant protection cage structure, Low speed bumper protection against parking lot type accidents, Laminated front glass, Front crash sensors and Engineered door trims to minimize injuries in side impact.

The Mahindra Marazzo rivals the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova Crysta in the Indian market.
