Mahindra has dispatched a few units of the upcoming TUV300 Plus to dealers ahead of its launch. One unit has already been delivered to a customer in Tamilnadu at an on road price of Rs. 9.46. The model in question is the P4.

The TUV300 Plus is essentially a longer version of the TUV300 compact SUV. While styling stays esstentually the same the rear of the TUV300 Plus gets all new tail lamps that extend to the sides. What it will not share with it’s sub 4 metre sibling is the engine. The new model will feature 1.99 litre diesel engine that develops 120 horsepower. This is the same engine that was offered in the Scorpio and the XUV500 in Delhi NCR region during the diesel ban.

The TUV300 Plus is expected to come in multiple seats configurations including a nine seater version in the lower spec variants. The variant in the photos has the P4 badge so the model could come with the P suffix for the different trim levels.

Head honcho Anand Mahindra said in a tweet “We’re seeding a few vehicles in the market before the launch next year. Don’t worry, I am in the queue as well…I can’t wait to start using this beast…and is making me wait!”
