Mercedes Benz has begun local production of the CLA sedan in India. India is the first country to locally produce the CLA outside of Europe. It is now the seventh product from the company’s portfolio to be produced in India.
Local production of the CLA will cater to increasing demand for the sedan, especially during the festive season. Waiting period for the car is also set to reduce substantially. The company has also started local production of the GLA 200 Sport petrol. The diesel variant of the GLA is already being produced at the new facility in Chakan.
With local production commencing, benefits of Rs. 1 to 2 lakh will be passed on to the customer for both, the CLA and GLA.

- CLA 200 Sport petrol – Rs. 32.9 lakh
- CLA 200 CDI Style – Rs. 30.7 lakh
- CLA 200 CDI Sport – Rs. 33.9 lakh
