Luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz has opened a new workshop in the city of Mangalore. This is the sixth outlet opened by the company in 2016.
Sundaram Motors Mangalore is located at Bangalore Highway BC Road and is set up with an investment of Rs.5.50 crore. The workshop was set up in a span of nine months. It is spread over 27,237 sq feet. It has 6 service bays that can service up to 150 cars per month.
The workshop is also equipped with the innovative new ‘Digital Service Drive’, which aims at enhancing the overall ownership experience by reducing of turnaround time and offering higher
transparency through use of tablets, for fast and convenient processes, and newage communication
channels, such as video-calling.
