Audi will launch the third generation of the TT sports car in India on 23rd April 2015.

The new TT is based on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform which is the same that underpins the Skoda Octavia and the Audi A3. The new TT will be launched in only the 45 TFSI quattro variant.

The third generation TT is powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged 4 cylinder engine that puts out 227 bhp and is mated to a six speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. The TT comes with Audi’s quattro All Wheel Drive system. It goes from 0 to 100 kph in 5.8 seconds and top speed is an electronically limited 250 kph.

The new TT will be sold as a CBU and prices could be around Rs. 60 lakh ex showroom.
