The Skoda Karoq has been offiicially teased prior to its global unveil on May 18, 2017. The Karoq replaces the Yeti SUV. Few details on the new compact SUV have also been released.

Skoda Karoq Exterior

The Karoq is 4,382 mm long, 1,841 mm wide and 1,605 mm high. It has a wheelbase measuring 2,638 mm (all-wheel-drive version: 2,630 mm). The front carries Skoda’s new design language. The SUV gets headlights inspired Bohemian glass art. Full LED headlights are available as an option, and features eight lights trips that resemble eyelashes. The rear gets full LED tail lamps. They feature the trademark Skoda C shape design.

Skoda Karoq Interior

The interior features a spilt design dashboard. The Karoq has a standard boot capacity of 521 litres with the rear seats in place. This increases to 1,630 l with the rear seats folded down. Skoda is also going to offer optional Varioflex rear seats. This system consists of three separate rear seats, that can be adjusted and completely removed individually. With all the seats removed, the cargo capacity of the Koraq goes up to 1,810 litres.

There is no info on the engines yet but we expect the Karoq to come with a 2.0 litre TDI diesel engine mated to a DSG automatic gearbox. A petrol engine should also be on offer. The Karoq with come with a 4×4 system.

The Skoda Karoq is expected to launch in India next year.
