Porsche has added the Cayenne S and the Cayenne S diesel to the Platinum Edition model range in India.
The Platinum Edition variants come with a host of standard equipment including 21-inch Sport Edition wheels in Platinum with a satin finish, eight-way leather sports seats with Alcantara centre from the Cayenne GTS. Additional equipment includes Bi-Xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), Power Steering Plus and front and rear Park-Assist, as well as automatically dimming interior and exterior mirrors.
On the interior, the Platinum Edition variants get “Platinum Edition” lettering on the front door entry guards,Porsche crest on the front seats and headrests. The front seats come with heating option, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment, which includes Navigation and the BOSE Surround Sound System. A sporty analogue clock is located on the dashboard.
The Cayenne S petrol is powered by a 3.6 litre six cylinder bi-turbo engine that develops 420 horsepower. The Cayenne S diesel features a twin turbo V8 engine that develops 385 horsepower
Four optional metallic paint finishes are also offered: Jet Black, Mahogany, Carrara White and Rhodium Silver.
