After launching the Tata Tiago and Tigor JTP models in October, Tata Motors has commenced deliveries of both models.

The first JTP car, a Tiago JTP was delivered to its owner Zishan Khan in Mumbai as tweeted by Tata Motors. Other customers who have booked their cars should start getting deliveries soon as well.

Power for the JTP models comes from a 1.2 litre turbo charged petrol engine that belts out 114 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. Tata claims a 0 to 100 kph timing of 10 seconds with top speed capped at 160 kph. Two drive modes are standard: City and Sport. The engine comes mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox.

On the exterior, the JTP twins get a large front grille with JTP badging, projector headlamps, vents on the bonnet and fender, side skirts and 15 inch diamond cut alloy wheels with wider tyres than the stock cars. Also included are a contrast roof, contrast ORVMs and a roof spoiler.

The interior features an all black cabin with red surrounds on the AC vents, leather wrapped steering with contrast stitching, aluminium pedals and a Harman 5 inch touch screen infotainment system. Safety features include dual airbags and ABS with corner stability control.

The Tiago JTP is priced at Rs. 6.39 lakh while the Tigor JTP comes at a price od Rs. 7.49 lakh. These prices are ex showroom Delhi. The JTP models have been developed with a joint venture between Tata Motors and Jayem Automotives Pvt. Ltd.
