Volkswagen Passat Interior

The interiors have a simple but a very rich feeling to them. The black dashboard feels very premium and the wooden panel that runs across it adds a touch of class. Infact the layout does remind you of the new gen Audi dashboards. The analogue clock in between the AC vents looks elegant. The three spoke steering is similar to what you get in other models in the VW family and feels nice to hold. The stalks have a quality feel and every button and switch that you see all around is top notch in fit and finish.

The front seats are very comfortable and offer great support. Both seats are heated but don’t get the cooling function which is quite a bummer considering our weather conditions. The driver’s seat also gets memory setting as well as a massage function. There’s good space at the back too. The legroom is sufficient and the rear seats are comfortable. The recline angle is good too. Headroom is also decent considering the sloping roofline of the Passat.

The Passat comes loaded to the brim with features. It gets three zone climate control, touch screen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, 360 degree cameras with auto parking, keyless entry and go and a sunroof. The large 586 litre boot can be opened by waving your foor under the rear bumper. For more space, the rear seats will fold down in a 60:40 split. VW also gives you a full size spare wheel with alloy.
