Volkswagen Passat Verdict

The eighth generation Passat is a very well rounded package. It comes with traditional European car traits like excellent build quality and great drivability. It gets a good diesel motor and comes loaded with features too. So while it does everything right, it doesn’t give you the wow feeling that one comes to expect in this segment and if you buy a car from your heart, the Passat is not for you. However, if you think from the head and like simplicity, understated class and don’t like shouting through the roof about having arrived, the Passat ticks all the right boxes and fits right in. It does everything a executive luxury sedan is supposed to do and does it rather well.
