The Volkswagen Polo GTI has been caught testing undisguised ahead of its launch towards the end of the year. The Polo GTI was first showcased at Auto Expo 2016 in February.
Power comes from a 1.8 litre turbocharged petrol engine that develops a whopping 190 bhp of power. . It will come mated to a seven speed DSG automatic gearbox.
On the exterior, the Volkswagen Polo GTI gets sporty bumpers, 17 inch alloy wheels, twin exhaust pipes and a honeycomb grille with GTI badging. It also gets a GTI specific rear spoiler. Safety features include. ABS, ESP & Hill-hold functions and airbags. The GTI for India will come in the three door configuration.

The Volkswagen Polo GTI will be sold as a fully imported CBU so expect pricing to be on the higher side of Rs. 20 lakh.
