The  2017 Hyundai Verna has received 7,000 bookings and 70,000 enquires since its launch on August 22.

The new Hyundai Verna features  ‘SUPER BODY STRUCTURE’ and is built with Advanced High Strength Steel,50% more than the previous gen car. The 5th gen Verna is built on the new K2 platform.

The new Verna is  powered a 1.6 litre Dual VTVT petrol and 1.6 litre U2 CRDi VGT diesel engine. While the petrol motor develops 123, horsepower, the diesel churns out 128 horses. Both engines come with the option of a 6 speed manual or a 6 speed automatic gearbox.

Features on the new Verna include 7 inch touchscreen infotainment, sunroof, projector headlamps, LED tail lamps, ventilated seats, voice recognition, rear curtain, push button start and 16 inch alloy wheels. The new Verna will come with safety features like 6 airbags, ABS along Electronic Stability Control as well.
