2020 Jaguar XE Interior

There are a number of changes on the interior as well. The overall dashboard design remains unchanged with the XE retaining the ‘Riva Loop’ design element. There is a new climate control system that is operable by touch and is back lit. The rotary gear knob is replaced by a sporty conventional gearstick and there is wireless charging too. The infotainment touch screen is larger and is very slick to use and it comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The steering wheel is also new and features silver accents. It also gets touch operable controls for the audio, phone etc. The steering feels nice to hold but a flat bottom would have added more character. Last but not the least, an all new digital instrument cluster with easy to read crisp graphics. All these new additions give a certain level of freshness to the cabin of the XE.

The front seats are very comfy and sporty at the same time with adequate bolstering. The come with a memory feature that not only remembers your seat position, but also the AC temperature, instrument cluster setting and even the radio station that you were listening to. The rear isn’t as comfortable as the front. Cushioning is not the best around and the high transmission humps will make it uncomfortable for a third passenger.The rear is best for two. But overall, the fit and finish of the cabin feels top notch with great quality materials.
