Mercedes-Benz India has sold 13,502 units in the year 2015. This is the company’s highest sales record ever since they entered India 20 years ago in 1996.

Mercedes-Benz India has registered a growth of 32% over last year. The company sold 10,201 units in 2014. Sedan sales ( CLA, C-Class, E-Class and the S-Class) grew by 42%, SUV sales (GLA, GLE and GL-Class) grew by 100 % and AMG sales grew by 54%. The new C-Class was the highest selling Mercedes in 2015 registering a growth of 90%. The car maker sold 503 units using digital platforms alone in 2015. Three new models were added to the local production portfolio this year : the GLA-Class, CLA-Class and the Mercedes-Maybach S 500. Mercedes-Benz has increased its cumulative investment in its production facility to Rs. 1000 crore.

Mercedes-Benz Certified grew by an impressive 109% and the growth in trade-ins was even higher at 122% in the January to December 2015 period.

Mercedes-Benz India plans to launch 12 new products and open 10 more outlets in India in 2016.
