The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is one of the most loved models in the German luxury car maker’s portfolio and the current C is the third generation of the car to be on sale in India. The W203 was the first C-Class to officially launch on our shores and the W205 that currently runs on our roads has been around since 2014. To keep things afresh, Mercedes-Benz has given the C-Class an update and its not down only to cosmetic bits, there’s new engines and more equipment too. We got our hands on the top of the line Mercedes-Benz C300d for this review. I’m sure the C300d moniker gets you excited so read on to know everything there is to know about this stonker of a car.

Mercedes-Benz C300d Exterior

The C300d is available only in a single AMG Line trim and that means you do get a lot of AMG goodies. First up is the sporty front bumper with twin slats on either side. The diamond front grille with the large three pointed star looks fantastic. The headlamps are Multi-Beam LED units and the design detail is for the eyes to see. On the side you get side skirts and delicious 18 inch 5 spoke AMG alloy wheels. The rear doesn’t feel too different from the older car but the LED tail lamps get new design elements. The sporty rear bumper also gets a diffuser and dual exhaust tips with a chrome garnish. Look closely and you also notice the subtle rear spoiler integrated into the boot. The best part of the updated C-Class is that it retains the classic lines of an already good looking car, but at the same time, the styling changes give it a refreshed character.
