Hyundai has launched the refreshed Creta compact SUV with prices starting at Rs, 9.44 lakh for the entry level petrol model going up to Rs. 15.04 lakh for the range topping SX(O) MT diesel. (ex showroom Delhi).

On the exterior the 2018 Creta gets a new large hexagonal chrome grille, redesigned front and rear bumpers, large housing for fog lamps in the front bumper and dual tone exterior options.

The interior remains largely unchanged. The driver’s seat gets height adjust and slidable front armrest as standard across all variants. Dual airbags and ABS is now standard safety kit for all variants as well.

New features include new design 17 inch diamond cut alloys, projector headlamps, cruise control, new AVN infotainment system, 6 way power drivers seat, electric sunroof, smart key band, wireless charging for phone, and iB Blue Audio control App.

The updated Creta is available in 7 Exterior single tone colour options and 2 Dual tone colour options.  Additionally, two new colours have been added – Marina Blue and Passion Orange along with new Dual Tone Passion Orange and Black.

Mechanically the Creta remains unchanged. Engine options include a 90 horsepower 1.4 diesel, 123 hp 1.6 petrol and 128 hp 1.6 litre diesel. While the 1.4 diesel gets only a six speed manual gearbox, the 1.6 litre engines also get the option of a six speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. However the range topping SX(O) variants do not get the auto box option.
