Audi has launched a limited Edition variant of the Q7 SUV called the ‘Black Edition’. The Audi Q7 Black Edition will be limited to only 100 units. It comes with a host of cosmetic enhancements.

The frame of the front grille gets Titanium gloss black finish. Additionally, It also comes with black alloy wheels, roof rails, black finish on the door trims, window mouldings and roof line. The rear features a diffuser finished in matte black.

As far as the interior goes, the Black Edition is identical to the range topping Technology variant.

The Q7 comes with the choice of a 3.0 litre V6 diesel putting out 249 horsepower (45TDI) and a 2.0 litre four cylinder petrol engine good for 252 horses (45 TFSI).  Both engines come mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox and Audi’s quattro all wheel drive system.

Rivals to the Audi Q7 in the Indian market include the Mercedes-Benz GLE and the BMW X5.

Audi has unveiled the Q7 facelift in the global markets and that is expected to hit Indian shores sometime next year
