BMW has launched the 3 Series Shadow Edition at prices starting at Rs. 41.40 lakh for the 320d Edition Sport Shadow and Rs. 47.30 lakh for the 330i M Sport Shadow Edition. The Shadow Editions come with styling and cosmetic updates over the regular 3 Series sedan.

On the exterior, the Shadow Editions get a number of black themed accents. There are darkened LED headlamps and tail lamps, front kidney grille finished in high gloss black, tail pipes in dark chrome and new design 18 inch allloy wheels. The Shadow Editions also get a new Sunset Orange paint shade.

On the interior, the Edition Sport Shadow gets sports seats, fine wood trim Ash Grain, highlight finisher in Pearl Cnrome, contrast red stitching on the syeering wheel that features paddle shifters and key finished in red trim.

The interior of the M Sport Shadow Edition features leather sports seats, interior trim elements in Dark Aluminium Carbon with Pearl Chrome, M style cockpit with MID and M leather steering wheel, doorsills featuring the M logo and key featuring the M strip. Both models also get contrast stitching on the instrument panel.

Mechanically the Shadow Editions get a 2.0 litre four cylinder twin turbo diesel engine developing 190 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque and a 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine that puts out 252 horses and Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox. The 330i M Sport Shadow Edition also gets variable sports steering for the first time.
