The BMW 320d Edition Sport has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 38.6 lakh ex showroom. The car comes with some updates over the regular car.

BMW 320d Edition Sport Features

On the exterior, the BMW 320d Edition Sport gets high gloss black elements at the front and rear. The slats of the trademark kidney grille are also finished in high gloss black. The interior gets a black and red theme along with sports seats. The centre console gets some chrome trims and there is red contrast stitching on the sports steering wheel that comes with paddle shifters. Other features include an electric glass sunroof, a 9 speaker, 205 W sound system, rear view camera, parking sensors, 6.5 inch colour screen for the iDrive infotainment system, Bluetooth and USB/AUX IN connectivity. The 320d Edition Sport comes in three colours; Alpine White, Black Sapphire and Mediterranean Blue. Upholstery options include Sensatec Black/Red highlight, Black and Sensatec Veneto Beige and Veneto Beige.

BMW 320d Edition Sport Engine

Mechnically, the car remains unchanged. The 320d Edition Sport is powered by a 2.0 litre four cylinder diesel engine that develops 190 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. It goes from 0 to 100 kph in 7.2 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kph. The engine is mated to a eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox. The Edition Sport also gets Launch Control as standard.

BMW 320d Edition Sport Safety

Safety features include six air bags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with brake assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Side-impact Protection, ISOFIX child seat mounting, Runflat tyres (RFT) with reinforced sidewalls, emergency spare wheel, electronic vehicle immobiliser and crash sensor.
