The home stretch was an easy drive and we ended the trail at the starting point after doing a whole circle. After a hot cup of tea, all participants were handed a certificate for doing the Above & Beyond trail along with an awesome Land Rover coffee mug. I set off for home after taking a few pictures.
The Above & Beyond Tour is a great initiative to showcase the capabilities of the Land Rover SUVs to those unaware. The technology that is now part of these machines will actually make even a lay man feel like an off-road hero. And it actually feels fantastic to put Terrain Response to its real use. Was I awestruck seeing what these Land Rovers can do? Not at all, because that’s they have been doing since the past 70 years. But I must admit the Evoque left me very impressed. The baby Range Rover does everything that makes it worthy of the badge and more. So if you own a Land Rover and want to see what it can really do, sign up for the Above and Beyond Tour the next time it is at a city near you. Do it even if you don’t own one. Highly recommended.
