accord2Japanese car maker Honda will be showcasing the New Accord and the BR-V compact SUV at the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo in February.

After being discontinued in India, the Accord is making a return to our showrooms in its 9th generation avtaar. The new car will be offered in both petrol and hybrid versions and will be sold as a CBU. Therefore it is expected to be priced higher than the locally assemble Toyota Camry. The hybrid Accord should be benefit from the FAME scheme in India. You can also expect the new car to come with the same performance, space and reliability that the Accord is known for.brv3

The Honda BR-V compact SUV will be shown for the first time at the 2016 Auto Expo and is sure  to gather a lot of of interest. The BR-V is based on the same platform as the Brio, Amaze and the Mobilio. It shares the same wheelbase as the Mobilio MPV. It will be powered by the same 1.5 litre petrol and diesel motors that are seen in other models in the Honda stable. The petrol BR-Vis also like to come with a segment first CVT automatic gearbox. The CVT gearbox has been developed specifically by Honda for the BR-V using the company’s Earth Dreams technology.

The Honda BR-V will rival the Hyundai Creta in the Indian market.
