Jaguar has published the first official image of its first ever crossover, the F-Pace.

The F-Pace has been teased for a long time and it will finally make its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month. It was first shown as the C-X17 concept, is based on the aluminum-intensive iQ[Al] platform and will feature a double wishbone front + integral link rear suspension. Interior space is said to be good for five people.

The F-Pace is expected to use Jaguar’s new Ingenium line up of four cylinder petrol and diesel engines. There will also be a 3.0 litre V6 that will power the F-Pace S and a top of the line F-Pace SVR powered by a 5.0 litre supercharged V8 engine.

The F-Pace will go on sale globally next year.
