Say hello to the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet, the ultimate version of the G-Class SUV in the three pointed star stable. While the company wanted to reveal the model at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, some pictures have been leaked online.
The Landaulet badge makes a comeback with the Mercedes-Maybach G650 after a long time. The name used to be reserved for ultra luxurious models with a soft top on the rear passengers heads.
Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet is based on the G500 4×4 Squared with the wheelbase stretched to 3428 mm, thereby increasing the second row space by 60 cm. It features a 6.0 litre V12 engine good for 625 bhp and is expected to be mated to a 7 speed dual clutch gearbox.
The pictures reveal that the second row is separated from the front, with seating for two passengers, a large centre console and a pair of TFT screens.
Production of the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet is expected to be limited to 100 units and the model will be officially revealed at the Geneva Motor Show.
