The Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 2.43 crore ex showroom.

This. massive SUV gets the large Maybach front grille adorned with chrome. It comes with 23 inch alloy wheels, chrome detailing in the bumpers, Multibeam LED headlamps, and the Maybach logo on the D pillar. The rear gets Maybach lettering on the tail gate, Adaptive LED tail lamps and the bumper gets a unique exhaust pipe design.

Features on the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 include dual 12.3 inch screens for the instrument cluster and the infotainment system, a large panoramic sunroof, Burmester 3D surround sound system, a fridge with silver plated champagne flutes, 4 zone climate control, soft touch door closing, 64 colour ambient lighting, and the latest MBUX infotainment system. There are only two rows of seats in the Maybach GLS600 and the middle row is positioned 120 mm further behind as compared to the standard GLS. The come with climatization and massage function. The backrest can recline upto an angle of 43.5 degrees. The rear passengers also get a 7 inch removable MBUX tablet. There are two C-type USB ports and wireless charging for smartphones as well. You also get electric sunblinds and temperature controlled cup holders.

Power comes from a 4.0 litre biturbo V8 petrol engine that puts out 557 horsepower and 730 Nm of torque. It features a 48V hybrid system or EQ Boost which adds an additional 22 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque when required. The engine is mated to a 9 speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels via the 4Matic all wheel drive system.

The Maybach GLS600 will be available in the following colours: Polar White, Cavansite Blue, Mojave Silver, Iridium Silver, Brilliant Blue, Selenite Grey, Obsidian Black and Emerald Green.
