Honda will be launching the new Amaze in India next month and dealers are expected to start taking bookings for the compact sedan from April 6, 2018. The new second generation made its world debut at the 2018 Auto Expo in Greater Noida.
The new Amaze remain under four metres in length and gets a fresh design. The front looks inspired fro the Accord Hybrid and appears sharp. The bonnet is flat and the rear has been completely redesigned giving it a very fresh appearance.
The new Amaze gets beige and black interiors along with a spacious cabin. The fit and finish on the new car is way better than its predecessor. There is a touch screen for the infotainment as well. Honda is expected to carry forward the same 1.2 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engines in the new car.Both the engines are expected to come with manual and CVT options.
Key rivals of the new Amaze are the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Volkswagen Ameo and the Ford Aspire.
