Porsche 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster launched in India

Porsche has launched the 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster in India. The 718 Cayman is priced at Rs Rs 81.63 lakh and 718 Boxster comes for Rs 85.53 lakh ex showroom.

The Porsche 718 Cayman and the 718 Boxster are powered by 2.0-litre, four cylinder turbocharged engines as against the naturally aspirated units of their predecessors.  The engine develops 300 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque, giving both cars a 0-100kph timing of 5.1 seconds, and onto a top speed of 275kph. Power is up by around 25 horsepower for the Cayman and 35 horses for the Boxster. Both cars come with a seven-speed automatic PDK gearbox. Standard equipment includes bi xenon headlamps with four point daytime running lights, carbon ceramic brakes, electric folding mirrors, sports seats, sports steering wheel inspired from the 918 Spyder super car, Porsche Communication Management system and  eight-speaker sound system.The 718 Boxster gets a six-speaker system.

On the exterior, both cars get new front and rear bumpers, designed side air intakes and new tail lamps.
